SENetwork and Anti-Human Trafficking Efforts

Since 2005, SENetwork has provided the SEN Reaching Out project which has expanded street outreach efforts and service provision of runaway and homeless youth centers to human trafficking victims.

This project provides training and technical assistance resources, practice protocol, and real time guidance needed to meet the unique needs of domestic and foreign born human trafficking victims.

In May, 2009, SEN Reaching Out received funding from the federal Office of Refugee Resettlement to support Rescue and Restore Coalition activities in the Greater Birmingham area, as well as training and technical assistance to select federally funded Family and Youth Services Bureau grantees in Alabama and Florida.
